CYBA Spring 2010 Baseball League

CYBA will introduce a new USSSA “AA” Sanctioned League

In addition to our Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Sanctioned League.

Recreational Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth

Our Recreational League will be sanctioned under the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth League.  Individual players register for this league, and teams are formed through the Draft process.  With the exception of T-Ball, players are required to attend a try-out to assist Managers/Coaches in the Draft process.  Managers will have lock options in all age divisions.  CYBA will provide ALL team uniforms, no special uniform orders will be permitted.  The CYBA uniform will consist of a team jersey, hat, and socks.  Parents, or sponsors if secured, will supply the uniform pant (and belt if applicable) as specified by the Manager.  Recreational games will be played on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. All games will be played using Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Rules along with CYBA League Rules as determined by the CYBA Board.  The CYBA Board President will oversee all operations of this league, and will be assisted by Division Directors.

Any team interested in the Competitive League can send their information or submit questions to Baseball@CabotYouthBaseball.com.

Competitive USSSA “AA”

Our Competitive League will be open to any USSSA AA team.  There will be no individual player registration for this league.  Teams must supply CYBA with Proof of Insurance, USSSA dues, and all other required documents. Teams will be responsible for all team operating costs (i.e. uniforms, equipment) and securing their own practice facilities.  All teams participating in the CYBA Competitive League will acquire points and be eligible for USSSA State Tournament. The Competitive League games will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  All games will be played using USSSA Rules, which are posted on the USSSA website, along with CYBA League Rules as determined by the CYBA Board.  The Competitive League Commissioner will oversee all operations of this league, and will be assisted by Division Directors.

Any team interested in the Competitive League can send their information or submit questions to Baseball@CabotYouthBaseball.com.
